Blessed by a miracle! An abandoned dog and her 9 puppies find hope in a church parking lot
A five-year-old dog has managed to find a second chance after a past full of misfortunes . Life changed for this brave canine mother after being abandoned by her former owners.
Her case quickly became known in the community and it was not long before members of the Paw Angel Animal Rescue organization based in Abilene, arrived at the place where the dog and her puppies were suffering.
He had some injuries that required urgent medical attention . The entire canine family was taken to the veterinary clinic where they were examined and treated by professionals who transmitted to him all the love that his former owners had denied him .
Unfortunately, the health of one of the puppies, whom they named Peach, was critical , with a throat ulcer and no chance of survival, they had to put her down.
The rest of the puppies were very weak, so they needed constant care, in view of this, Misty decided to provide them with a foster home and ensure their well-being .
“The mom and her puppies are safe,” Misty said.
Little by little the puppies came out of their shell and the brave mother gained strength with each passing day.
Throughout the entire process of recovering the puppies, the dog proved to be the best canine mother, she fed them, was always protective and gave them sweet kisses as if encouraging them to move forward .
Dory was always willing to give and receive love.
With short steps and tender tail movements, each puppy revealed its personality. After a while, they were transferred to a rescue center where they waited for a while until they finally found the perfect family .
All puppies were vaccinated and sterilized before being given up for adoption.
Today, each puppy enjoys a new opportunity to be with their families thanks to the love of their caregivers and all those who in some way collaborated to make this happen.
Dory, meanwhile, spends her days in her new home getting into mischief and conquering the world with her little human brother Jaxson. In a post, her mother wrote:
“Today marks one year since this beautiful little girl captured my heart. I love you Dory, and I’m so glad you’re a part of our family.”
Our hearts are filled with joy knowing that all the puppies have found the family they deserve . We hope that each of their days is filled with love and tender adventures.
